Fall harvest inevitably involve corn and that means that when you’re out seeking fun activities to do with the kids, you’ll be looking for a corn maze. But how about when you’re looking for something romantic to do? A corn maze? Yes, I’m tellin’ ya!
I’m not sure if corn mazes are popular all over the country, but we have certainly embraced them here. And, they have become a great way for garden centers and farm centers to supplement their income once the weather starts to get cooler.
But surprisingly, we’ve had listeners call in and say that a corn maze is actually a great date idea.

A Visit to Demarest Farms in NJ
If we’re going to be real right now, I’m kind of sick of people saying it’s “Basic” to like fall. Yes I’m a 20-something-girl living in Hoboken, yes I like pumpkin spiced lattes, and yes, I wear flannel and leather boots…so perhaps I embody those things that people get annoyed by and am utterly and totally basic. But really…if you’re getting annoyed by that, GET. A. LIFE. There are worse things to be cranky about. Regardless, I am totally okay with enjoying these things, and am now going to call anyone who dares to make fun or put down a person who likes fall a FROOGE.

This past weekend, some friends and I went to do some fall-tastic things and not be Frooges, and we found ourselves at Demarest Farms in Hillsdale, NJ.
