AVN ist ein Medienunternehmen mit Sitz in Chatsworth, Kalifornien. Zu AVN gehört eine Reihe von anderen Geschäftsbereichen, wie diverse Print- und Online-Magazine sowie auch Verbrauchermessen.

      Der Preis gilt als „Oscar der Pornobranche“.[1][2] 2025 wurde er in 120 verschiedenen Kategorien vergeben.

      Die AVN Award Show gilt als die größte Veranstaltung in der Branche wird seit 1984 veranstaltet und findet traditionell Mitte Januar am letzten Abend der AVN Adult Entertainment Expo statt.
